France is 90% Roman Catholic. Belgium is 75% Roman Catholic, with Protestants and "others" (such as Islamic or Hindu) making up the remaining 25%. Germany is 37% Roman Catholic (Bavaria is almost 100%) and 45% Protestant, mostly Lutheran. Austria is 85% Roman Catholic, 6% Protestant. Poland is 95% Roman Catholic, and the current pope is a Pole. Hungary is 68% Roman Catholic, 20% Calvinist Protestant, and 5% Lutheran. Bulgaria is 85% Bulgarian Orthodox (national form of Greek Orthodoxvery close to Catholicism except the worship of icons is held, rather than statues), and 13% Muslim. Romania, likewise, has a national form of Greek Orthodoxy, called Romanian Orthodoxy (89%), with 6% Roman Catholic and 6% Protestant. Croatia is 77% Roman Catholic, and 11% Orthodox. The Czech Republic (much of former Czechoslovakia) is divided about evenly between Atheism (39%) and Roman Catholic (39%), with only 4.6% Protestant. Italy is 98% Roman Catholic. Greece is 98% Greek Orthodox.
