MICROSOFT BROWSER BUG |
Problem with Microsoft's Internet Explorer (especially IE7)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 ~ 7.0 won't allow links to open to framed windows.
Microsoft has always been one to created bloated software. Their newer version of IE is no exception. PLUS, the fact they are targeted by hackers the world over makes it even worse. There are so many vulnerabilities in their software that every time someone finds a weak point, hacks it, and causes problems for YOU, Microsoft creates a security patch to fix it. Problem with that is, some of the patches cause problems on their own as well as increase the already bloated size of the software, which by the way slows your system down.
This is why people using IE to browse the RemnantofGod.org website (and other sites that use frames) are having trouble using the menu on the left. This is a real problem for Microsoft as there are millions of websites that use framed pages. My suggestion? Dump Microsoft Internet Explorer. There are many "free" browsers out there that have better features, more security, and less bugs then Microsoft anyway. So why take the chance?

One way to prevent this problem is...
If you're using a version fo Windows other then Vista, do NOT use Internet Explorer 7.0. Reason being is, it's designed for Vista. Certain DLL's won't be available for the program to access unless you are using Vista. So, it won't run as originally designed.
The best type of browser is one that is using it's own DLL engine. Many of the free browsers use the engine that runs IE. So, using these browers will result in the same problem. There are now literally millions of websites that are not completely accessable because of the IE bug. So.. it's up to you. Do you want ALL your surfing availabe, or only selected bits?
