Y2K

Greetings everyone. Many preachers and teachers across the land have been asked what they think will happen in the following months concerning the Y2K situation. I am no exception it seems. I too have been asked to comment on what I see happening. Therefore I have decided to share this with all of you, rather than repeat it numerous times over the comings months to each individual that asks.

The faith of the people living during the Tower of Babel appears similar to the faith of today's people. Back then man did not trust God to NOT send another flood. So they decided to "save themselves" with their own technology. They decided to build themselves a "man made mountain" so they could run to the top in the event a flood repeats.  "And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth." (Genesis 11:4) There main objective of course was to join as one in defiance to God's will. But as the Bible explains...

"And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech." Genesis 11:6-7

God "CoNfUsEd" them easily and their technology was unable to help them. The Lord altered their languages in such a way that one man was unable to understand the other in simple speech. Something as trivial as "communication" was able to destroy their efforts entirely and permanently!

Once again man looked to his technology as his "god" when Titanic was created. Titanic was seen as "man's technological miracle" of the day. I read somewhere the comment was even made that "Even God can't stop us now." Man placed their trust in a massive behemoth of a ship. Such an undertaking by man. Such a TOWER of accomplishment was Titanic! Such arrogance of man! How far would man's arrogance take him? Did he look upon Titanic as they looked upon the Tower of Babel? Such an arrogance as this could actually offer man the eyes that could actually see the ship "saving many" while floating upon a planet covered with water in the event God broke His promise to man. However, once again a trivial and insignificant event shattered all their plans. Something as piddly as "frozen water" is what sunk this mighty ship. Think about that, frozen water ripped through  hardened bulkheads of steel as easy as a misunderstood word ripped through the hardened plans of man in the building of a tower in Babylon!

Now we see Modern technology is looked upon as miracles of mankind. Once again man stands up with his chest puffed up with a string of inventions and a technology that makes him declare that "WE CAN DO ANYTHING TOGETHER!" We can even walk on the moon! We can create robots that walk on Mars! We can actually create movable machines out of strands of DNA! (see this... http://cnn.com/cnn/TECH/science/9901/13/dna.device.ap/index.html )Yet again, a trivial little insignificant problem such as a 2 digit boo boo is causing the entire planet to panic! Even if nothing does happen on Jan 1, 2000. There WILL be a degree of panic that something "might" happen. Count on it! How BAD will the panic be? I don't know. But let me play the "WHAT IF" scenario for now...

Days, perhaps weeks, even months before New Years day, people will strip the store shelves empty for fear that everything will shut down preventing them from getting what they need. They will stock up on food, water, and even ammunition to guard what they own, "just in case" something does happen. They will withdraw their money from their banks. They will cash out and max out their credit cards in a frenzy of "buying the essentials." They will quit their jobs making those they owe suffer massive financial hardships. I could go on and on about all the big and little effects that may or may not occur. Fact is however, if this occurs, the Government has made it quite clear that they ARE able to enact "Martial Law" to prevent panic. Need I repeat all the "Executive orders" (vol10.htm) I shared with everyone as being laws on the books since July 16, 1996?  The Government WILL do it if it gets to this level. Numerous calamities and financial collapses will be the result of the panic. Even if only 1/10 of the people panic it will cause a run on the banks by even those that had no intention of pulling their money out in the first place. Why? They will see a few people doing it, then a few more, and so on, and so on. They will figure it will be in their best interests to get their money out because everyone is panicking. I saw this happen with my own eyes to a bank in my teen years all because of a rumor started by an employee angered because he was fired! The bank went belly up in less than 2 days! With all the unnecessary panic going on the people will become irrational. Then the communications will break down between the people and the local government as well as federal government. Then of course the Government will panic. They will realize their "control" will be lost because no one adheres the normal "controlled" day to day activities anymore. Laws are being ignored for the sake of "Saving your own!" So... SEND IN THE MILITARY! Still more calamities will occur because not only are the people panicky, they SEE their own Government has panicked as well! They will see soldiers on ever corner standing with M-16's to remind them at every turn. The "Executive orders" will be enforced allowing all to see martial law in the USA from coast to coast. The Government will also see an opportunity to "change orders of business" in regards to electing new officials simply because the nation is unable to effectively experience a proper and fair election due to the panic. That's right, it's and election year as well! Would Clinton in his bold arrogance proclaim that he must stay in office until all the problems cease and the nation is back to normal? Yes, I believe he is that bold to do something such as this. Then the ultimate opportunity for Antichrist will be made realized. The call will go out for all mankind to repent! Church and state will JOIN to prevent further loss of control of the people. Church and state will unite to ASSURE that the Government will be able to FORCE people to repent so as to stop all the calamities they see as "judgments of God" upon them. Church and state will join in the call that goes around the world..."WE MUST REPENT AND GET RIGHT WITH GOD! WE ARE BEING JUDGED FOR OUR SIN! IT'S TIME TO KEEP SUNDAY HOLY SO AS TO STOP THE JUDGMENTS!" Church and State will then enforce their "Sunday Law" upon mankind. Therefore calling upon the wrath of a Mighty God for placing man's law over and above the Law of God. The plagues of Revelation will now be realized! Those that refuse to keep man's "Sunday Law" will be punished! They will be unable to "Buy or sell" anything unless they do as the Church and State requires! How will they be able to do that? Remember, Martial law is in effect now! Everything is sowed up tight by the Government. They will have no problem forcing their will upon anyone that has no trust in God Almighty. (Re-Read those Executive Orders!) And those that don't know how to trust the Almighty and ever living God of creation will believe they need to buy and sell just to eat, right?! Therefore they will easily accept the "requirements" of the Church and State so as to eat. But God's children will stand firm. Knowing He will provide for them. Soon the Church and State union will realize that the "peculiar few" that still won't bow to their laws. They feel they need to be dealt with so as to prevent the loss of mankind in the plagues. So, between Plagues 4 and 5 the call will be strengthened by Church and State. It will finally be proclaimed by them... "THOSE THAT REFUSE TO KEEP SUNDAY HOLY MUST DIE!" Why? They will be blaming those people that REFUSE to break God's Law as the ones that are preventing the "repentance" of the whole world from being effective enough to stop the plagues. They will repeat the same method that they used against Jesus as He was about to be crucified...

John 11:50, "Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not."

They will look upon those people that embrace God's truth the same way they looked upon Jesus. They will actually believe it would be good that they die so the rest of the world may survive. Problem is, the day they put forth as the day of the true child of God's death is the day the Lord God and His Son Jesus will return. The seventh plague will be the result of their desire. This isn't the first time God's children were threatened like this. And this isn't the first time God Almighty stepped in and took over. In the book of Esther we see that the Almighty God allowed Haman to be hanged on the gallows he actually built to hang the children of God on. Fact is, when they make the death decree against those of us keeping God's Law. Those true Christians still alive at that time are guaranteed to NEVER die! Jesus will return for them before any harm comes near, "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it." Jeremiah 30:7

A question I have been asked repeatedly in the last month as well is, "Should we stock pile food?" Look at the Mormons. They are famous for doing this. They even have "Mormon prophecy" to proclaim that they will have the POWER because they have the FOOD when the trouble arrives. Problem is, they will actually become the TARGET because they have the food. It's the last days people! Shall I remind you of the Riots that almost every major City in this nation has seen in the last few decades? Do you think if you have tons of food in your basement that your neighbors are going to allow you to keep it? Do you think the mobs of people will quietly stand in line waiting to purchase food from you with a currency that is useless? Stock pile food and you will be a target! Think about that. People will kill you for a loaf of bread today. Whereas 30, 40 years ago they DID have some manners and morals. Now do you see why the devil needed to corrupt the kids with Rock and Roll? Drugs? Sex? Anarchy? Whatever? To CONDITION a people that will live and do for him in this day. To condition a people that will kill for a loaf of bread. Need I remind you of the kids that were killed simply because they wore starter jackets, and Nike shoes? What shall we do? We must stock pile Jesus and His Word! Was not Elijah fed in the wilderness? Were not the Israelites fed in the wilderness? Was not John the Baptist fed in the wilderness? And after 40 days of fasting in the wilderness, was not Jesus Himself fed in the wilderness? Would not the Almighty God that created you feed YOU in the wilderness? You have His WORD on it!

Isaiah 33:16, "He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure."

Isaiah 41:17,18 "When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water."

Isaiah 49:10, "They shall not hunger nor thirst; *neither shall the heat nor sun smite them:* for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them."

*PLEASE NOTE!* "neither shall the heat nor sun smite them" is confirmation that the plagues will not harm the child of God. The plague of "heat that will scorch mankind" is plague #4! And it is written... "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." Pslams 91:10

Matthew 6:26, "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"

TRUST Him! A righteous man foresees something coming and he prepares. Therefore a week, maybe even a few weeks of food may be necessary to stock pile if you are so inclined. But to go further would certainly be seen by the Almighty as YOU trying to save yourself! It will be seen as you are not TRUSTING him to flood the Earth as did those in Babylon! And as those in Babylon saw their just deserts for gathering together to do a great evil. Look to the Internet and see how much evil is upon it. Look at all the websites out there selling everything from Pornography to instructions on how to build Biological weapons! Mankind has once again "joined together" to do a great evil people. "And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." (Genesis 11:6) Has not the Internet allowed us to "have one language" all over again? And has not that joining together caused much sin to abound at the fingertips of even your children in your own home?

``I Will Survive'' at a fund-raiser that netted over $2 million for a
staunch ally.

Before Clinton came on stage, Gloria Gaynor sang her signature song, the
disco anthem ``I Will Survive,'' as well as the Motown hit ``Never Can Say
Goodbye,'' bringing the 1,500 donors to their feet clapping along.

``Actually, I sort of like 'I'm never going to say goodbye,' better'' he
added, saying he stood well back from the stage so no one could take an
embarrassing photograph of him singing along.
