Greetings, in the very last days of Earth's history. Just as it was revealed to Present's of God ministry, the Y2K~PANIC started on December 27th. Not as intense as many thought would occur, but it has begun nonetheless. Below are just a "few" articles to give you an idea as to what's going on out there. However, keep in mind Christians, this is NOT a reason to panic! If you do, you are showing absolutely no faith whatsoever in the Almighty God that created you and all that is around you. Do you really want to show a lack of faith this late in the game? Let the unbelieving Worldlings panic all they want, but let your faith in your God shine forth like a beacon unto them so as to glorify the Lord God Creator of the Universe!

 

Matthew 6:24-34, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.  Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?  Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. One more thing. I am NOT saying the World will end on January 1, 2000. The panic of mankind is not what is prophecied to bring on the end of the World. In fact, it is written that,  "...when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." (1 Thessalonians 5:3) Fact is, mankind will be experiencing the exact opposite when Jesus returns and splits open the Eastern sky for ALL EYES to see. For now, there are still a "couple" of prophecies left to fullfill before that occurs. And even then, no man is capable of knowing the exact day or hour of the return of the glorious King Jesus Christ. (See Mat. 24:36) Plus, also keep in mind I am not saying we have all the time in the World either. In fact, I am saying we are in the very last days right now! Did not Jesus proclaim that once Israel becomes a nation that, THAT generation will see His second coming? (See Mat 24:32-34) And did not Israel become a nation at 4:00pm Friday May14th, 1948?

> BY THE WAY PEOPLE....WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS SOLD NOT READY FOR Y2K

 

A friend of mine brought this to my attention today. Some of us already knew of this, however, it's possible that many people are unaware of a "glitch" in their WINDOWS operating systems. If you use WINDOWS operating system you need to fix this immediately. (Don't worry... It's REAL easy to fix!)

 

Subject:  Y2K - so simple it almost slipped by without notice You may think your PC is "Y2K" compliant, and some little tests may have actually affirmed that your hardware is compliant, and you may even have a little company sticker affixed to your system saying "Y2K Compliant"...  but you'll be surprised that Windows may still crash Unless you do this simple exercise below.  Easy fix but something Microsoft seems to have missed in certifying their software as Y2K compliant.

 

This is simple to do, and but VERY important.

 

1.  Click on "START".
2.  Click on "SETTINGS".
3.  Double click on "Control Panel".
4.  Double click on "Regional settings" icon (look for the little world globe),not the date and time icon.  "Regional Settings"
5.  Click on the "Date" tab at the top of the page.  (last tab on the top right.
6.  Where it says, "Short Date Sample", look and see if it shows a "two digit" year format ("YY").  Unless you've previously changed it (and you probably haven't) -- it will be set incorrectly with just the two Y's.. it needs to be four! That's because Microsoft made the 2 digits setting the default setting for Windows 95, Windows 98 and NT. This date format selected is the date that Windows feeds *ALL* Application software and will not rollover into the year 2000.  It will roll Over to the year 00.  (*)
7.  Click on the button across from "Short Date Style" and select the option that shows, "mm/dd/yyyy" or "m/d/yyyy".  (Be sure your selection has four y's showing, not just "mm/dd/yy).
8.  Then click on "Apply".
9.  Next click on "OK" at the bottom.

 

Easy enough to fix.  However, every "as distributed" installation of Windows worldwide is defaulted to fail Y2K rollover...  Pass this along to your PC buddies...  no matter how much of a guru they think they are... this might be a welcome bit of information!
