As many are aware, I was a devout Roman Catholic for many years in my past until I finally picked up a Bible and left the church. Everyone I knew back then, including the priests that came to visit my parents on a regular basis are in fact just like Homer Simpson. What's sad here is, the Roman Catholic church still claims to be a Christian church when in fact, most of what Homer does is in fact defined as blatant sin in the very Bible they claim to be their religious textbook. This is why our Lord declares boldly in Revelation 18:4 that His people still in the Roman Catholic church should, "...Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

Iranian Christians Threatened by Death Penalty

However, they were released after posting bail and signing written promises to the government to refrain and renounce their faith. However, Stephen, Maria, and Ehsan have refused to sign any documents and deny their faith." -This is happening more and more now where some spiritually weak Christians are choosing to deny Jesus Christ as Lord to gain their freedom or save their lives. They may have been Christians when they were arrested, but they were no longer Christians when they were released. Truth is, everyone is about to be tested like this in the coming days. Even though I don't agree with the doctrinal stand of the pastor and his wife who decided not to denounce Christ, it's obvious our Lord is "winking" at their ignorance in that He is allowing their faith to be tested in a way that will indeed glorify Him. So please pray for them that not only is the Lord glorified, but they also come to a better understanding of His written Word when it comes to the Roman Catholic doctrine of 'tongues' we see so prevalent today. As for those that did sign the documents, I must echo what Jesus said in Matthew 16:26, "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" Is Heaven that repulsive to you that you would choose to stay here instead?

This is why we see the Vatican promoting Harry Potter back in 2003, 2008, and 2009 and these spiritualistic statements being made from Michelle Obama today. The really sad thing about this is, they will be successful to a certain degree in making Christianity look bad because they are the leaders of the "so called" free world and many ill informed people love to emulate them for some strange reason. This makes the prophecied fruits of Rome in the presidency of the United States appear much easier to see now. Rome has always been a graphically evil example of Christianity since it's church & state conglomeration in 538AD. Fruits like this cannot be hidden anymore no matter how much they try. They think it's acceptable to pray for "clean spirits" more than it is to pray for the Holy Spirit as real Christians are supposed to do. (See Luke 11:13) We already know that Barack Hussein Obama's a Muslim, and now since Michelle Obama is promoting "prayer circles" and "clean spirits" it seems his wife is a Pagan. Please pray for them both, as they are ordained to be in the position they're in. The very Christians they hate may be the only ones that love them enough to pray for them now.

Chinese House Churches Raided, Two Pastors Missing

"On Sept. 29, 2010, four of the church members attempted to negotiate with Sichuan police in hopes of having the belongings that were confiscated returned to them. This was done in accordance to Chinese laws regarding places of worship. Instead of having the items returned to them, the members themselves were arrested. ...Two foreign pastors, one from the United States and the other from Russia, both present at the time of the raid, were arrested along with thier translator." -The laws in Communist countries are purposely written in a deceptive manner when it comes to governing Christians. This is why it's best not to alert anyone of such home churches anymore, except of course those the Lord sends your way. Please pray for these pastors that they are brought home safely before long. No, I do not know of their statement of faith, but they do claim CHrist Lord and it is solely for that reason they are missing. Better yet, even if they weren't Christians as we define them, they should be prayed for anyway. Is this not the basic duty of a Christian?

The reason I posted this article was to show that even though many people knew well in advance that he was going to kill himself, not a single person tried to stop him! Jesus said of our day in Matthew 24:12, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." Not only has the love of many waxed very cold, sin has abounded like never before, with the exception of Noah's day of course. Everything from TV shows, music, novels, Hollywood movies, video games and peer pressure make sinful things appear to be the most popular aspect of life today. Death is so part of the 'entertainment' industry now that when something like this comes up, people flock to it like those slowing down next to a car accident on the freeway! Almost everyone alive have been slowly brainwashed not to care.
