His Word
|
- John 3:16 which says, "For
God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
- Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the
most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to
change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time
and times and the dividing of time.
- Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to
death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the
beast.
- Exodus
20:8-11 Remember the sabbath
day, to keep it holy. (9) Six
days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: (10)
But the seventh day is the sabbath of
the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt
not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is
within thy gates: (11) For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that in them is, and
rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and
hallowed it.
- Matthew 23:24, “blind guides,
which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.”
- Matthew 23:2-4, " The scribes and the
Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: (3) All therefore whatsoever they bid
you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they
say, and do not. (4) For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to
be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move
them with one of their fingers.”
- Genesis 4:7, "If thou doest well, shalt thou not
be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto
thee shall be his desire, and thou
shalt rule over him."
- 1
John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin
is the transgression of the law.
- Genesis 13:13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD
exceedingly.
- Genesis 20:9 Then Abimelech called Abraham, and
said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that
thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done
deeds unto me that ought not to be done.
- Romans
3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his
sight: for by the law is the
knowledge of sin.
- Matthew 5:17 Think
not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to
destroy, but to fulfil.
- Matthew 3:15, "And Jesus answering
said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to
fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him."
- Matthew 5:18, "For verily I say unto you, Till
heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from
the law, till all be fulfilled."
- Romans 8:3-10, "For what
the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God
sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin,
condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled
in us,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are
after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after
the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death;
but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is
enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed
can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are
not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell
in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit
is life because of righteousness."
- Acts 6:14, "For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth
shall destroy this place, and shall
change the customs which Moses delivered us."
- Romans 13:8-10, "Owe no man
any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath
fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery,
Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false
witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it
is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour:
therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."
- Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee
and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head,
and thou shalt bruise his heel.
- Galatians 4:4-6, “But when the
fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made
under the law, (5) To redeem
them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
(6) And because ye are sons, God
hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”
- Hebrews 10:16-17 This is
the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I
will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
(17) And their sins and
iniquities will I remember no more.
- Ecclesiastes 12:13 that much easier to understand,
which says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep
his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
