1	1 Timothy 3:3, "Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;" The apostle Peter also said in 1 Peter 5:2 that elders should, "Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;" 1 Samuel 8:3, “his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment."

8	Luke 17:26-27, "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all." John 14:29, "And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe."
9	Matthew 24:37-39, "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
