Truth Provided Newsletter -ARE PERSECUTIONS ON THE RISE?

Christian greetings everyone in these last days of Earth’s history. For about a year or so now I have been keeping track of apparent attacks on Christians I have found in the regular media. At present I have over 100 articles on hand. They seem to be coming in sporadically. Nevertheless, they ARE coming in an average of 2 or 3 a month. However, in November of 2002 I came across 15 articles in that month alone! One thing I’ve noticed lately is how the devil appears to be attacking. He’s not BLUNTLY going after the Christians at all times. Sure, there are times when the attack graphically points towards those that preach the Gospel of Christ, whether they be in “our” camp or not. But lately I have been seeing attacks on the Christian church that make it obvious he is trying to hide his agenda. It appears his reasoning is to prevent Christians he is going after from becoming martyrs. That would no doubt solidify his agenda, and at the same time reveal the fact that it is a CHILD OF GOD in his sites. For example, just the other day I received an extremely shocking article that may be used to prove this point. I placed it on my “URGENT BREAKING NEWS” page of the website the moment I received it. Please pray for this Christian family. They are in a trial like no other. Here are a few excerpts from that article…

Australian missionary beheaded

A Newcastle man was beheaded in a surprise machete attack in the Solomon Islands yesterday, while working as a missionary for the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Lance Gersbach, a 60-year-old accountant, was acting as the business manager for the Atoifi Adventist Hospital on Malaita Island. The church said Gersbach was murdered about midday yesterday but that it had no idea of a motive. Solomon Islands police superintendent Charles Lemoa said the man was killed as he worked clearing a drainage ditch on the site, leading to suspicion his murder was linked to a land dispute. "The people from that area are disputing the erecting of new buildings like that, high buildings like that," Lemoa said. "I believe that the deceased really did not expect the attack, and it can be termed as really a surprise attack." The man appeared to have have been killed with a machete or large bush knife, he said. (I have the entire article in the “Urgent Breaking News” area of the site)

The article tries to direct the readers into believing that his murder was linked to a land dispute. Now I am not saying this isn’t the case, but I am saying the devil will attack and get others to do as he desires in a bevy of ways so as to quench the message of Truth. If the enemy can get a Christian killed, especially one that is proclaiming a message that exposes him so easily, then he will use any method available at the time. And if he can “hide” that fact that he is the one killing him, so be it. I have no doubt this method will be used more and more as the days go by.

Many of our faith understand that in the “extreme” last days, the children of God will be accused of committing crimes they never carried out. All for the sake of getting Christians behind bars and ready for “organ harvesting” as my “Guillotines in America” Newsletter of May 29, 2002 proved is the main reason they are lobbying for “certain” death penalty laws regarding guillotines. The mark of the beast must be enforced. And the enemy knows that if these SDA Christians are out there doing missionary work, putting up billboards, preaching on radio stations, making videos, writing books, holding seminars, or building websites, he has to cut their numbers down. Is this what happened to our dear SDA brother in the Solomon Islands? Ask yourself this question. Did he preach the present truth? Does this not anger the devil? And who is it that convinces people to use machetes on their fellow man in the first place? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out who’s behind this man of God’s death. If we are TRUE Christians we understand John chapter 16 without question. We WILL be killed, we WILL be cast out, and we WILL be persecuted.

A few weeks ago in Alaska, a teenager found out about this hatred of Truth in a very frightening way. At least this time the enemy wasn’t able to hide the fact that he was shot for his Christian message. This is a bittersweet blessing for our side. I praise the Lord it wasn’t a fatal wound as well!

It’s actually getting to the point now you may actually be placing you life at risk when preaching Jesus Christ. Regardless, will that stop a TRUE child of God? NOT A CHANCE!

What a testimony this teenager has been blessed with. Pray for him! Pray that his walk gets even closer! Also pray that the TV ‘Christian’ hype doesn’t quench his message. Truth is folks, if the devil can’t kill you off, he will definitely attempt to BUY you off. Pray this young man isn’t soiled by “fame” if and when the “TBN” false TV preachers approach him for RATINGS! Pray he has the courage to say NO to those preachers of filthy lucre.

All over the World we are hearing of Christians being killed for their faith. China for example has been leading the charge in this regard for years. And right behind China of course is the Muslim world. Look around your own neighborhood. There are countless numbers of people from all walks of life that are under total control of the devil. They are being used in powerful ways, as well as minuscule hidden ways. And one of the most hate-filled movements known to man has to be the Homosexual agenda. This group is the smallest group on record, yet the most vocal one to date. And the main reason is that the majority of them have Catholic officials backing them in government. In fact, they are now seeking ways to stop preachers from mentioning the BIBLICAL FACT that homosexuality is an abomination unto God.

Pennsylvania House OKs 'gay' rights

Pennsylvania lawmakers have passed legislation that gives homosexuals specific, statewide legal protection for the first time, prompting some to predict that pastors in the state will now be targeted for preaching against the "gay" lifestyle. The bill, which passed the House on Tuesday by a vote of 118 to 79, adds ''ancestry, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity'' to the state's Ethnic Intimidation law, which already raises the grade of crimes motivated by hatred against victims because of their race, color, religion or national origin. …''This bill is so broad, that if you have an attender at your church who feels offended or intimidated by what is said from the pulpit, you and your church leadership will be receiving certified letters inviting you to either a deposition or a court appearance,'' he said. …The bill, which passed the Senate last year, 32-15, now heads for the desk of Gov. Mark Schweiker, who has promised to sign it.

By the way, those lobbying this law no doubt dodged the fact that the homosexual community is also known for violence. ONE WEEK before this vote was lobbied; a woman in Chicago was brutally murdered by a homosexual because he didn’t want to hear about her Jesus anymore!

Woman Murdered After Reportedly Witnessing to Homosexual

A killing in Chicago last week could turn "hate crimes" laws on their head. A brutal murder in Chicago last week highlights the double standard surrounding hate crimes. A homosexual killed a woman that was trying to witness to him. Will authorities call the killing a hate crime and will the media report it in the same way they did the Matthew Shepard murder?

… "This woman, Mary Stachowicz, was killed evidently because she was sharing the truth about homosexuality
to a gay activist," LaBarbera said. "We will be waiting to see, now, if the media treats this case like it treated the Matthew Shepard case." … The Cook County State's Attorney's office says since Gutierrez is being charged with murder, a hate crime charge would be irrelevant.

The reporter states that this killing “could turn hate crime laws on their head.” Yet the previous article stated ever so clearly, it did not. In fact, they voted FOR the homosexual agenda a mere SEVEN DAYS after this woman was murdered by a homosexual. The State’s Attorney’s not only evaded using the term “hate crime.” He also declared the reasons for her murder “irrelevant.”

Simple question… During the Matthew Shepard media blitz, was it not the MAIN ISSUE throughout the press that he was killed because he was GAY? I am not belittling the poor soul that was killed. Not at all! What I want to clarify is that his SIN was brought forth in the media as GOOD, which made him a martyr for his sinful lifestyle. But the Christian life of Mary Stachowicz appears to be “irrelevant?” Indeed it is irrelevant to an antichristian and Vatican controlled government. The majority of Congress, and the Senate are already in the hip pocket of the Vatican. Unjust laws are being passed with a fervor that has never been witnessed before. All over the Globe we see nation after nation proclaiming Christianity to be evil, and the Satanic religions to be the acceptable norm. It’s literally getting out of hand! Soon we will TRULY be a small Remnant of God! Take India for example. Like China they are very insistent in keeping the Christian muzzled.

Church Leaders Oppose Threatened Legislation

Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu are calling for religious freedom rights to be upheld in the face of threatened legislation that would "ban conversions." …Recent press reports accusing Adventists and other religious minorities of offering inducements to converts have led to the introduction of a decree in the state assembly that would criminalize conversions in certain circumstances.

That’s right, they will make it a CRIMINAL ACT to speak of Jesus soon. And before long, “our Jesus” will be swapped for the Jesus of Rome by all so called Christian nations. This is how Antichrist is able to keep it global. During the Inquisition of Roman Catholicism, they were not trying to prevent people from worshipping Jesus. At least that’s what they said. They were trying to get people to worship the Jesus THEY worshipped instead. The Catholic Jesus is not the same Jesus who died for us. The Jesus of Rome wants you to die for HIM instead. In fact, 150 million died at the hands of those that worshipped and taught the Roman Jesus. And as was prophesied, the martyrdom is beginning again. However, don’t expect a rush on open martyrdom until the Antichrist really starts to flex his muscles. Until then you will start seeing more of the following subtle attacks.

This attack is so subtle and well hidden in fact that it’s not even necessary that the man that died was a Christian for the enemy’s plan to work. Why? Think about it… Will there now be FEAR of going to church in that area because of what has happened? This tactic has worked time and time again in our lives. Need I mention the drastic drop in people boarding airplanes after 911?

The enemy will use any and ALL tactics he finds effective on the human race. Especially when the bulk of the people do NOT trust the Lord because of their lack of faith to begin with. Do you SEE the see how viscous and effective the circle this enemy has built became? The sad thing here is, his plan is designed to keep us from sharing the Good News to the lost. At every turn we find ourselves hitting a brick wall. And when we see an open and shut case of Christian persecution, we must be ready to accept the fact that like the Cook County States Attorney trivializing Mary Stachowicz murder, the Government controlled media has every intention keeping these persecutions under raps…

Media Silent on Targeting of Christians by Muslims

The press hardly ever mentions that Christians are deliberately targeted by Muslim extremists around the world. It isn’t because they are westerners or Americans that they are being targeted. It is because they are Christians. Their killers say so, but the American press mostly refuses to report it. As the Weekly Standard notes in its November 11 issue, while the press reported that the six killed and 143 wounded in an attack in the Philippines October 17, few conveyed to the reader that these were people assaulted by Muslim extremists because of their faith. …If Christians targeted Muslims, it would be news. Otherwise, it’s business as usual. Little has changed since the days of the Roman coliseum. - I’m Cal Thomas in Washington.

However, if Christian’s speak out against Muslims, expect the American Government to step in and tell you to keep your peace.

Powell attacks Christian right

Colin Powell, the US secretary of state, condemned America's Christian right yesterday for propagating hatred against Muslims… Days after the televangelist Pat Robertson said on his Christian Broadcasting Network that "what the Muslims want to do to the Jews is worse" than the Holocaust, Mr Powell told a gathering in Washington: "This kind of hatred must be rejected."

… As the likelihood grows of a war in Iraq there are strategic benefits for the White House in convincing Muslims that it would not be a war against their religion. The administration's increased willingness to confront the Christian right reflects the Republicans' sweeping victories in last week's mid-term elections, reducing Mr Bush's reliance on the extreme fringes of his supporter base

Governments are showing less and less tolerance for the Christian faith. Even if the Governments are “Christian founded,” the enemy has orchestrated the governmental puppets perfectly for our day. If you are a Christian Church expect problems. However, if you are a recognized “main stream” manufactured religion the Governments of this world deem as credible, expect a free ride. Have you seen my Roman IRS page? This is more or less what Governments of this world are seeking. Total agreement with “Catholicism” must be the main doctrinal fabric of churches in the USA if you seek a 501C3 tax free status. Unless you are a church they “agree” with, you are NOT going to be recognized as such according to these unjust laws.

Take for example the Uzbekistan government and their hatred of Christians. Why some Christians can’t see this as prophetic fulfillment is beyond reasoning, especially since Christians worship a God of 100% accurate prophecy. Christians were harassed and even jailed for preaching a message they say is negative towards the Islamic faith. And yes, some were jailed for crimes they did NOT commit for the mere purpose of shutting them up! Is the following excerpt from that article a preamble of what we in America are about to see in our land? If Colin Powell and other officials in Washington keep preaching pro-Islam, I am sure many preachers are going to start preaching pro-Christ as a way to openly protest the government.

Uzbekistan Christians caught in net of persecution

Christians in Uzbekistan are being unjustly fined, imprisoned, and sentenced to hard labor as the government cracks down on all religious groups in reaction to an extremist Islamic movement.

...The government began arresting Christians after radical Muslims bombed targets in Tashkent in March, a Christian who uses the pseudonym John Mark told Religion Today. ...Authorities are applying a harsh new law to close Christian churches and imprison pastors.

The 1998 law makes it illegal for nongovernment-approved clergy to preach, bans private religious instruction in Sunday schools and homes, and outlaws churches with fewer than 100 members, Compass Direct News said. Registered churches are forbidden to proselytize or do missionary work. Church leaders who fail to comply with the law face fines many times over the monthly minimum wage and jail terms up to five years.

...Four Pentecostal church leaders in Chirchik, convicted of "violating the procedures for religious meetings," were forced to pay fines equaling 100 times the monthly minimum wage last month, Compass reported. Pentecostal church leader Ibrahim Yusupov was recently imprisoned for conducting missionary activity in Tashkent and, in Bukhara, pastor Na'il Asanov received a five-year sentence for several charges, including "spreading extremist ideas," Compass said. A Christian lay minister is in custody in Nukus, Karakalpakstan, an autonomous republic, for possessing and distributing Christian literature.

...Police are charging religious leaders with drug-peddling to guarantee longer prison sentences, Compass said. The method has most often been used against Islamic fundamentalists, but Christians are increasingly being targeted, it said. A pastor and two lay leaders in Karakalpakstan are serving lengthy sentences on what local Christians say are false charges of drug-dealing.

...Pastor Rashid Turiyabev has been sentenced to 15 years of hard labor for alleged drug trafficking. Co-workers Parhad Yangibayev and Issed Tanishiev received 10 years. An appeals court upheld the ruling July 13 and the men have been taken to a labor camp and their property confiscated, Compass said. The men maintain their innocence. A television station suggested that the charges are more about religion than drugs, and that the men were guilty of deceiving others by "promising to wash away their sins with water" and "glorifying the society of Christ."

In the previous article I shared concerning Colin Powell’s remarks towards Christians bad mouthing Islam. Do you know WHAT prompted his forceful remarks? Truthful, and historically accurate statements made by three “main stream” preachers. Below is another excerpt from that very article…

And to further solidify it in the minds of those that “think” Roman Catholicism is a Christian religion, the Pope steps forward in all authority to proclaim Islam not only a friend to Christians, but one worthy of support.

Vatican official urges deepening of Catholic-Muslim dialogue

April 25, 2003 - WASHINGTON (CNS) -- A top Vatican official and an internationally renowned Muslim scholar said April 24 that the quest for peace in the world calls for efforts to advance Catholic-Muslim dialogue at all levels. Archbishop Michael L. Fitzgerald, president of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, said the very fears and tensions caused by events such as the war on Iraq and the U.S. terrorist attacks in 2001 "have brought Christians and Muslims together, perhaps more than ever before. New opportunities have been created for a constructive dialogue between the adherents of Christianity and Islam." Imam Abdulaziz Sachedina, a professor of religious studies at the University of Virginia, acknowledged the growth of dialogue among Muslim and Christian leaders and scholars but asked, "When dialogue takes place at the official level, is it reaching the people? This is where the dialogue needs to have its effect. This is where respect has to take place." The two spoke to an overflow crowd in the meeting hall of Annunciation Parish in Washington. Cardinal Theodore E. McCarrick of Washington and Cardinal William H. Keeler of Baltimore, both members of the U.S. bishops' Subcommittee on Interreligious Dialogue, were among those attending.

Is it working? Has the relentless prodding of the Roman Church been successful towards the Islamic nation? Have all the articles about Mary’s connection with Islam, or the Vatican ideas for Islamic benefits and peace, or the hundreds of pictures with the pope embracing Yassir Arafat, or Arafat himself kissing the Pope’s ring, or the Vatican’s hatful comments towards Jerusalem been all for naught? No… it appears not. In less than one month after that article, the Roman Catholic Hierarchy of New York City no less have agreed to cooperate with each other from now on.

New York Catholics, Muslims pledge cooperation

May 21, 2003 - ROCHESTER, N.Y. (CNS) -- Leaders of the Catholic Diocese of Rochester and the Council of Masajid (Mosques) of Rochester have signed an agreement pledging mutual cooperation and support. They signed a two-page document called "An Agreement of Understanding and Cooperation" after a May 5 dinner at the Islamic Center of Rochester. The document pledges both communities to respect each other's religious traditions. It also challenges religious and ethnic bigotry and pledges that both faith groups will make efforts to foster mutual respect, including the establishment of joint educational programs for children and adults, and mutual outreach efforts. It also calls for the establishment of a joint committee of Catholics and Muslims to implement the agreement.

What is this church thinking? The church of Islam is not only historically known for violence, they are known in modern days for violence. Or has the hierarchy of New York City completely forgotten September 11^th?

The Word of God alone should now be used as a method to further illustrate to the enslaved Catholic that their church is not a church that adheres to biblical jurisprudence. For it is written plainly in Amos 3:3, "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" That Bible verse alone should be sufficient evidence that the Roman Church is not in agreement with the Creator God, but in agreement with the destroyer god of Islam. The Vatican is in fact pledging MUTUAL SUPPORT are they not?

Is this a strategic move you ask? Obvious eh? The largest “Christian” organization known as the Roman Catholic church is now joining forces with the largest non-Christian organization. And BOTH of these organizations are historically known for their horrendous treatment of the true Church of Jesus Christ. Both can sport astronomical numbers of killed Christians to their resumes. Is it a coincidence that these two antichristian religions are now joining forces? Not at all. Anyone with a competent knowledge of the prophetic future knows that this is a MUST for the Antichrist in Rome. This unholy alliance must be complete in order for all of the pieces to be in place. And soon you will see BILLIONS of people that are taught from day one that true Christians are either a CULT, or HERITICS, or INFIDELS worthy of death. This is what prophecy calls “the time of Jacob’s trouble.” There is a beautiful blessing to all this though. Jesus is in fact coming SOON!

"Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it." - Jeremiah 30:7

Of course I have many articles on this topic to share. There is absolutely no way I can share them all with you. Perhaps one day I will be blessed with the chance to be able to place them online. By the way… if anyone knows of a software product that allows you to convert large quantities of stored email articles into HTML pages with little effort on my end. I would be very interested! Until such a time, I’ll have to keep hunting and picking through the thousands of articles I have on a bevy of topics day by day. Nevertheless, I feel the following facts concerning the early church will be sufficient to the heart that loves the Lord. It happened in the beginning of the church, and now it’s happening in the end of the church.

· Mark - died in Alexandria, Egypt, after being dragged by horses through the streets until he was dead.

· Luke - was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous preaching to the lost.

· John - faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution in Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered from death. John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos. The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve as Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey. He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully.

· Peter - was crucified upside down on an x-shaped cross, according to church tradition because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die in the same way that Jesus Christ had died.

· James the Just - the leader of the church in Jerusalem, was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club. This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the Temptation.

· James the Greater - a son of Zebedee, was a fisherman by trade when Jesus called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the church, James was ultimately beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer walked beside James to the place of execution. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.

· Bartholomew, also known as Nathanael - was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed to our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia when he was flayed to death by a whip.

· Andrew - was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony. His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words: "I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it." He continued to preach to his tormentors for two days until he expired.

· Thomas - was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the sub-continent.

· Jude, the brother of Jesus - was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.

· Matthias - the apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded.

· Barnabas - one of the group of seventy disciples, wrote the Epistle of Barnabas. He preached throughout Italy and Cyprus. Barnabas was stoned to death at Salonica.

· Paul - was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament.

Would you place this much trust in something or someone unless you had personally experienced and truly believed that it was the truth? Our sufferings are indeed minor compared to the intensity and cruelty of the persecutions faced by the apostles/disciples for their Faith. When was the last time someone threatened to stone you? Crucify you? Beat you? Scourge you? Throw you from a tower? Behead you? Would you be willing to die for your faith? You just may be faced with this question in your life time if you are being an effective witness for Jesus Christ. Fact is, many are being faced with that decision TODAY.

My dad told me he left the catholic church when he realized what they did was not as was taught in the Bible. After he told me about it , I saw it as a warning to stay away from it and after seeing the research you did on the pagan idols they use I’m glad that God opened his eyes to come out of it and then warn me about it. Ever notice that in Matthew 23:9

"Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven."

I find it kind of strange that Catholics call their preachers "father".

Look up any Catechism of the Holy Roman and Apostolic Church (sic) PRE Vatican II Council, and you will find
that the sign of the cross is a profession of faith in the Tri-unity or Triumvirate god of Catholicism.

Oh, Nic! That is totally awesome. I want my friend Sue S. to see it. She has been holding back on making a firm stand on the Sabbath and totally leaving Sunday behind. One thing, tho'. Some of the scenes really flashed by so that we couldn't even see the pictures or the words. Maybe about 5 or 6 did that. I would have to go back and count to be sure. But it was a fair amount. I like how a person can contemplate and then click to the next one. That is really great for people who don't read or absorb facts fast!

Just yesterday, I was told that my small flock of approximately 25 men, women and mostly teenagers, must "gather up your equipment and get out" for preaching "an idiotic tirade" about Christmas being pagan.

Our new missionary work had been invited to start sharing a church building with a very small and aged group and they were looking forward to the "youthful vitality" that our lively worship brought. But though I tried to present this message with love and without condemnation this past week, they would not hear it. What a shame and yet God will provide and the truth will prevail!
