Is the Date 06-06-06 Prophetic?

In the last week this ministry has been asked repeatedly emails, on the phone, and in person if this date is something to be concerned with? Is it prophetic? Truth is, it's nothing more then Hollywood hype to sell a movie. But just saying that won't make many understand. We need to look into the Bible where it originated. So, what does the Word of God say about this prophecy?

• "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." -Revelation 13:17-18,

The 666 prophecy is NOT A DATE! It has to do with the beast itself. More importantly it has to do with his NAME. It also declares a "man" is to carry the same number as well, because as we all know, Satan will not stand on earth UNTIL he does so as Antichrist incarnate one day. Until that time he only has permission to possess the man he chooses to do his bidding. This man must have a "name" that also equals 666, because the prophecy plainly states it is both the number of the beast as well as the number of the man he uses. It is the last days as many are already aware, and with the last days comes increased knowledge. Daniel boldly declares that at "...the time of the end: ...knowledge shall be increased." (Daniel 12:4) With this increased knowledge we will be able to better identify the beast. This is confirmed as an end time knowledge to behold in the following passage...

• 2 Thessalonians 2:2-4, "... the day of Christ is at hand. (Second coming)  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (second coming) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

We are most assuredly in the last days and we now know who this "man of sin" is because he openly declares himself to be God in many documented quotes...

The pope overwhelmingly shows great pride in "shewing himself that he is God." These few quotes alone prove that. But it gets better still. How does the 666 come into all this? As we learned earlier, the 666 is the number of the beast, his name, and the number of the man he employs on earth till he comes as Antichrist incarnate.

Does the Pope have a name that equals 666? Truth is, the pope's have many names for the offices they hold. But first you must realize how to come to a number. In ancient times there was an art called "Ghemethria" which entailed giving numeric values to the letters in ones alphabet. If we were to use this art in the American alphabet we would assign numbers thusly.

• A= 1 B= 2 C= 3...Z= 26

The language of LATIN, the chosen language of Rome, makes this job quite easy as it is not only their ALPHABET, it is also their NUMERIC SYSTEM! To this day the Latin numeric system is called, ROMAN NUMERALS. For example, in their alphabet, the letter "I" = 1, and the letter "C" = 100 in Latin. Let's look now at the MAIN TITLE for the office of Pope shall we.

• "The letters inscribed in the Pope's miter are these 'VICARIUS FILII DEI'. which is the Latin for 'VICAR OF THE SON OF GOD.' Catholics hold that the church, which is a visible society, must have a visible head...., as head of the church, was given the title, 'VICAR OF CHRIST'." Now that we have a name that ROME ITSELF claims to be the title, what does this name add up to?
